Zell am See is full of charm, with an old town centre that has a good range of sports and fashion shops, bars, cafes, and amazing views along its lakeside and mountain settings.Located at the lake Zeller See (4.5 km long, 850 meters to 1400 meters wide, depth of up to 68 meters) and backed by the Schmittenhoehe mountain (2000 meters high), Zell am See offers unlimited sports possibilities throughout the year, including skiing, hiking, rafting and glacier walking at the nearby Kitzsteinhorn that rises over 3200 meters, making snow a virtual certainty. Both mountains combined total 130 km of pistes and 57 lifts.
